Dieterich Bank 2025 Prize Giveaway Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Dieterich Bank. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor. The decisions of the Sponsor shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. It is the responsibility of the Sweepstakes entrant to review the official rules for modifications or supplements. These Official Rules may not be waived, modified or supplemented except by Sponsor in writing.

PRIZE: One (1) prize will be awarded by Sponsor in this Sweepstakes to one winner who will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. The prize will be a 2025 Honda CRV vehicle with a value of approximately $38,000.00 (the “Prize”). Any vehicle or other item that might be present at promotional events of the Sponsor, and/or pictured on web sites or promotional items, will be representative only, and may not be the actual prize (the actual vehicle) awarded. The winner will not receive a choice as to brand, model, color, or features of the Prize. The Prize is awarded “AS IS”, and Sponsor and its employees, agents, officers, and directors expressly disclaim any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, relating to the Prize in any way. The winner of the Prize may not substitute or redeem the Prize for cash or transfer the Prize. The winner must pay all income taxes payable on the Prize, if any. The Sponsor will not include a tax offset check with the Prize. Please consult your tax advisor for any tax related details and issues. The winner of the Prize assumes and must pay all fees and charges associated with the Prize and with transferring title to the Prize to the winner, including, but not limited to, income taxes payable on the Prize, sales taxes, use taxes, other state taxes if any, license, registration, and title fees. In addition, all costs of vehicle ownership, including but not limited to insurance and maintenance, are the sole responsibility of the winner of the Prize.
ENTRY DETAILS: This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States of America aged 18 years or older. Employees and/or board members of Sponsor, and spouses of employees and/or board members of Sponsor, are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Residents of the states of New York, California, Florida, and Rhode Island are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO BE ENTERED INTO THIS SWEEPSTAKES. There are two ways to enter this Sweepstakes: (1) USE OF DEBIT CARD. Each use of a Dieterich Bank debit card associated with a Dieterich Bank account owned by an individual or individuals, from the period of January 1, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. until December 22, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. with a transaction in the amount of $5.00 or greater will result in the Dieterich Bank debit card holder having one entry into this Sweepstakes; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that no entries will result from the use of HSA (health savings account) cards, debit cards associated with a Dieterich Bank account owned by a corporation, LLC, partnership, limited partnership, or other corporate or business entity, ATM transactions, ACH transactions, returns, and/or reversals. There is no limit to the number of Sweepstakes entries that an individual Dieterich Bank debit card holder may receive. (2) MAIL IN. On one side of a 3” x 5” card, print your name, address, telephone number, and the words “DIETERICH BANK SWEEPSTAKES.” On the other side of the 3” x 5” card, place a U.S. first class stamp and mail using the following mailing address: Dieterich Bank, Attn: Sweepstakes, 300 Sur Woods Drive, Effingham, Illinois 62401. Mailed entries must be postmarked by December 22, 2025, and must be received by Sponsor on or before December 29, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. to be eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for cards that are not received by the deadline. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, damaged, illegible, postage due, or incomplete entries. Entrants may mail as many entry cards as they wish. USE OF A DEBIT CARD DOES NOT CARRY AN INCREASED CHANCE OF WINNING OVER A MAILED ENTRY. EACH ENTRY HAS AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING. Sweepstakes entries may not be transferred or sold.

OPT OUT: If a Dieterich Bank debit card holder does not wish to participate in the Sweepstakes, such debit card holder may notify Dieterich Bank of his/her opt out by sending a written notice to Dieterich Bank, Attn: Sweepstakes, 300 Sur Woods Drive, Effingham, Illinois 62401.

DRAWING: The winner of the Prize will be selected in a random drawing at approximately 11:00 a.m. on December 31, 2025 from all eligible Sweepstakes entries. The Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor and/or Team Digital, at a location to be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Whether or not to have spectators and/or Sweepstakes entrants present at the Drawing will be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The dates and times referenced herein may be modified or extended at the discretion of Sponsor. The winner need not be present to win. Immediately following the Drawing, Sponsor will attempt to notify the winner by telephone using the information that Sponsor has in its records regarding the winner. If Sponsor is unable to reach the winner via telephone, Sponsor will notify the winner using an alternative communication, such as e-mail and/or mail and/or in person, using the information that Sponsor has in its records regarding the winner, in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

Prior to receiving possession of the Prize, the winner must comply with the following requirements within thirty (30) days of the Drawing: (1) Provide Sponsor with all personal identifying information requested by Sponsor; (2) Fully execute any and all state and federal tax forms requested by Sponsor; (3) Sign an affidavit of eligibility and acknowledgement of applicability of the Official Rules (including the release provisions of these Official Rules); (4) Fully execute any and all documents required for the transfer of title; (5) Present proof of automobile insurance coverage in effect; and (6) Take possession of the Prize.

If the winner does not satisfy all of the applicable requirements within thirty (30) days of the Drawing, then such winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and such winner will receive no prize as a result of the Drawing. If such winner forfeits the Prize, or if the winner declines the Prize, then an alternative winner will be chosen, or not chosen, in the sole discretion of Sponsor. If an alternative winner will be chosen, the methodology and timing of such drawing will be in the sole discretion of Sponsor. The times referenced herein may be extended at the discretion of Sponsor.

ODDS: The odds of winning depend entirely on the number of Sweepstakes entries received during the applicable period. For example, if 10,000 Sweepstakes entries are received, the odds of winning the Prize are 1 in 10,000.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Sweepstakes entrants agree that Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, consultants and agents, and Team Digital and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, costs, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage or property loss, resulting from, whether in whole or in part or directly or indirectly, participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the Prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for any errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Errors”), including without limitation, Errors in Sweepstakes-related materials or in the administration of the Sweepstakes, such as Errors in receiving or processing entries, identifying the winners, or announcing or delivering the Prizes. Anyone who tampers with or abuses any aspect of the Sweepstakes, as determined in Sponsor’s sole judgment, will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and if applicable, will be deemed to have forfeited all claims to the Prize.

PUBLICITY RELEASE: The winner, by accepting the Prize, grants Sponsor and its designees and affiliates, full permission, except where legally prohibited, to use that winner’s name, address (city and state only), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation and without notice, review or approval, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the Internet and world wide web, in perpetuity.

NAME OF WINNER: The name of the winner of the Prize may be obtained by sending a written request plus a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Dieterich Bank, Attn: Sweepstakes, 300 Sur Woods Drive, Effingham, Illinois 62401; provided, however, that the winner’s name need not be provided if such winner has forfeited or declined the Prize. Requests must be received by March 31, 2026.

PRIVACY: The terms of the Dieterich Bank Privacy Policy are applicable to this Sweepstakes, subject to the Publicity Release and Name of Winner provisions of these Official Rules.

GOVERNING LAW; SEVERABILITY: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Entrants submit to exclusive personal jurisdiction in Illinois and agree that any dispute shall be brought only in a state or federal court located in Illinois. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that any provision of these Official Rules, or their application to a particular persons or circumstances, is invalid or unenforceable to any extent, then the remainder of these Official Rules, and the application of all of these Official Rules to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected by that determination, and shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
