Key Debit Card Management Features
1. Turn Your Card On or Off
If you misplace your card, you can instantly disable it to prevent unauthorized transactions. Once you find it, simply switch it back on—no need to visit a branch or make a phone call. This feature gives you peace of mind and added security whenever you need it.
2. Name Your Card
Do you have multiple debit cards? Keep them organized by assigning custom names in the app. This makes it easy to quickly select and manage the right card without memorizing card numbers.
3. Set Up Real-Time Card Alerts
Stay informed about your spending with customizable debit card alerts. Choose to receive notifications via text or email for approved, declined, or suspicious transactions. If you receive an alert for a transaction you didn’t make, you can quickly turn your card off to prevent further unauthorized charges.
4. Temporarily Increase Your Spending Limit
Most Dieterich Bank debit cards have a daily spending limit to help protect against fraud. However, if you need to make a large purchase, you can request a temporary increase in your limit for 30 minutes—right from your app. After this time, your limit will automatically reset for added security.
5. Change Your PIN
Need to update your PIN? Instead of visiting a branch or ATM, you can now change your PIN directly in the app. This feature saves time and makes it easier to update your security settings whenever necessary.
6. Report a Lost or Stolen Card
If your card is lost or stolen, report it immediately in the app to deactivate it and prevent unauthorized use. Once reported, the card can no longer be used, and you’ll need to contact Customer Care or visit a branch to get a replacement.
