What can I do with online banking?

There are many features to the online banking system that help you manage your money more efficiently. You’re able to view your account balances and transaction history as soon as you login to online banking. 

 

You can then transfer money between accounts, pay bills using Bill Pay, set up account balance and activity alerts, and enroll in paperless e-statements. You can also manage your debit cards from your online banking portal, along with sending secure messages to the bank if needed.

What can I do with the mobile banking app?

When you register for online banking, you’ll have the option to download the Dieterich Bank mobile app. From here, you’ll have access to all of the same features as online banking, plus additional extras such as mobile check deposit, where you can take a picture of your check within the app and deposit it straight into your account.

 

You’ll also be able to login securely with Face ID or your fingerprint to keep your information protected. Within the app, you can complete P2P payments, sending money to friends and family securely. You can also manage your debit card within the app, set spending limits, and enable travel notifications if you’re planning to be away from home and will be using your card elsewhere.

How do I reset my password in the mobile app?

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it, you can open the Dieterich Bank mobile app and select Forgot Password. From there, enter your username and answer your security question. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password via the reset link sent to your registered email.

Is mobile check deposit available to all customers?

Yes! Mobile check deposit is a feature that’s available to all customers who have enrolled in Dieterich Bank’s online banking and have downloaded the mobile app. You can then open the app and select Deposit Checks.

 

To use this feature, you’ll need to sign the back of your check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only”, before selecting your account, entering the check amount, and taking a clear photo of both sides of the check. Once you’ve submitted the information, you’ll receive confirmation that your check has been deposited. We recommend keeping your physical check for your records for several weeks.

Can I link external accounts to Dieterich Bank’s online banking?

Login to your online banking and go to Move Move > Add External Account. From here, you will be prompted to enter the bank name, routing number, and account number. Verify the account connection via two small test deposits.

Simply login to your online banking and navigate to Move Money > Bill Pay. From here, you can add payee details, select the account you want your money to transfer from, enter the amount, and then schedule the payment.
