No, you can use your mobile wallet for purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web at participating retailers.

Can the merchant see my debit or credit card numbers?
No, they will not be able to see your debit and credit card numbers, because they are NOT stored on the device. Instead, your numbers will be replaced with a token or code for data security. This can also be referred to as tokenization.

What is tokenization?
Tokenization is the process of replacing a card’s primary account number (PAN)—the 16-digit number on the plastic card—with a unique alternate card number, or “token.” Tokens can be used for mobile point-of-sale transactions, in-app purchases or online purchases.
