We are excited to welcome you, Community Bank of Trenton customers, to Dieterich Bank. We are acquiring both Community Bank of Trenton branches over July 18-20. After this acquisition, we will have added a branch in Trenton, IL as well as a second branch in Breese, IL.

We’ve set up this special web page to assist you with information about the conversion. Some services will be unavailable throughout the weekend of July 18-20. Please make note of these changes and plan ahead – you will have limited access to your Community Bank of Trenton account information throughout the conversion weekend.

1. In read-only mode you will only be able to access your transaction & statement history and balances as of Friday, July 18. 

2. The ATMs at the Breese and Trenton branches will be available to withdraw cash during conversion weekend, however you will not be able to transfer funds or access accurate balances starting 5:00pm Friday, July 18 until the morning of Monday, July 21.

Yes! Beginning Monday, July 21, you will be able to transact business at any Dieterich Bank branch. See our other branch locations and their hours on our branch location page.

Absolutely! When you walk into your bank branch, you will see the same smiling faces who have always greeted you. We will strive to provide you with an experience that exceeds your banking expectations.

Yes! The Breese and Trenton branches will remain open in addition to Dieterich Bank’s branch that is already established on 550 N Second St in Breese.

The branch phone numbers will remain the same after July 21.

Dieterich Bank customers have the option to call their branch directly or call our Customer Care line at 800-699-9766. But don’t let the “800” scare you. The individuals on the other line are real Dieterich Bank employees who are there to help keep wait times shorter in case our branch staff is busy helping customers in the lobby!

Your checking and savings accounts will be converted to comparable Dieterich Bank products. The Welcome Guide will have the products listed for review.

The terms and rates for all CDs and Loans will not change until maturity.

Dieterich Bank uses the same digital banking provider as Community Bank of Trenton, so your digital banking should look very similar, but with a few additional features! Check out our digital banking features on our Digital Banking Page.

Yes, you should receive a new debit card in the mail. Your Community Bank of Trenton debit card can be used until Sunday, July 20. Your new Dieterich Bank debit card will need to be activated on or after Monday, July 21.

Yes, your Community Bank of Trenton checks will continue to work after the conversion. Please reorder checks at your earliest convenience by visiting a branch or calling Customer Care at (800) 699-9766.

Dieterich Bank and Community Bank of Trenton use the same check vendor, so you will receive the same number of checks in an order as you do today.

Your current interest rate is assured to maturity on your CD and your IRA CDs.

All CD interest rates are guaranteed until maturity, including the Day Out Club bump. Once your CD has matured, you will have the option to renew at the then current interest rate, but the Day Out Club bump will be discontinued.

No, the terms and conditions, including the interest rate, will not change.

Loan payments made on or after July 21 may be made by one of the following methods: 

  • Drop off at any Dieterich Bank branch
  • Mail to 300 Sur Woods Drive, Effingham, IL 62401
  • Set up a digital banking transfer.

You will need to click the login button in the top right corner of DieterichBank.com or download our app and simply type in your credentials. Refer to page 24 in the Welcome Guide that was mailed to you for what login credentials to use. 

Yes, you will need to download the Dieterich Bank mobile app, if you wish to use mobile banking. You will begin logging into the Dieterich Bank app on July 21.

Yes, all of Dieterich Bank’s checking account statements are printed with check and deposit slip images with 12 images on each page.

Dieterich Bank is not able to accept credit card payments in the branch. With a Dieterich Bank credit card, you will have access to a credit card mobile app and the credit card website or you can set up a bill pay transaction or call the number on the card to make a payment. 

Dieterich Bank does offer Quicken/Quickbooks access, however you will need to disconnect your current Quicken/Quickbooks account from the Community Bank of Trenton and reconnect to Dieterich Bank, starting on July 22. For more information, visit our Quicken/Quickbooks page.
