The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service continue to send the second Economic Impact Payment to eligible taxpayers.

Here are some steps you can take to keep updated regarding your stimulus check:

  • Check your Online and Mobile banking accounts only once per day. Please do not continually log into your accounts looking for your payment. Dieterich Bank posts deposits from Federal Reserve once per day: Dieterich Bank receives direct deposits/transactions daily, and these are posted by 9:00 a.m. If it is not posted by 9:00 a.m., the soonest it will be posted is the following day.
  • Sign up for Deposit Alerts in Online Banking. Within your online banking profile, you can set up "alerts" that will notify you when a deposit is made. We encourage you to sign up for these alerts if you want to be notified of the stimulus payment.
  • Check the IRS website for updates. Use the links below to keep up with the latest information published by the IRS. 


ATTN previous First Bank Customers: If you are a customer who was recently acquired by Dieterich Bank and are expecting a stimulus payment, please be aware that we have made arrangements with First Bank to forward these payments to us for deposit into your Dieterich Bank account. These deposits will be made promptly upon receipt of the funds from First Bank. Once again, these payments are only processed once per day at 9:00 a.m. If you do not see the payment in your account at 9:00 a.m., the soonest it will be posted is the following day.
